We'll untangle the beliefs you have about alcohol and discover new tools to handle every situation. Our work together will be based in science, compassion, curiosity, experimentation, and is completely judgment-free. When you remove the desire to drink, you won't need rules or willpower and you won't need to fear missing out. You will be in control and you will get to decide what kind of role you want alcohol to play in your life.

I’m Jonathan Ball, co-host of The Alcohol Myth Podcast and a certified Affective Liminal Psychology coach. For years, alcohol was my go-to fix for stress, loneliness, celebration, you name it, until the solution became the problem. Now I help driven, capable people who are tired of the 3am panic, the endless moderation rules, and the quiet shame learn how to change what they want, not just what they do. When we say we are both ALP and TNMI certified, here’s what that actually means...:

We have been formally trained and certified in the This Naked Mind coaching methodology, a specific, values-based approach designed to help people move beyond the constraint of alcohol (and other self-defeating patterns) without shame, scare tactics, or white knuckling.

We are certified in Affective Liminal Psychology (ALP), which is the behavior change framework underneath that work. It focuses on the “in between” space where your conscious goals and your subconscious emotional drivers collide, so you can update the emotions and beliefs that quietly run the show and make lasting change feel natural instead of exhausting.
